If you're looking for a trustworthy shop, you've come to the right place! I recently visited Volvo of Austin for a simple repair and was informed that my rear brakes were at 4mm and needed immediate replacement, with an estimate of nearly $500. Concerned, I reached out to V Connection, and they accommodated me quickly. After dropping off my car, I received a call shortly after confirming that the brake pads on all four corners actually had about 50% life left! It turns out Volvo of Austin was attempting to upsell me on a $500 service. Thanks to V Connection's honesty, they have gained a customer for life. I highly recommend them! And yes, when I picked up my car, I was pleasantly surprised to find I was charged a remarkable $0. Now that is exceptional customer service!

I was referred to this place by the place that services my Volvo. I had an oil leak that they couldn't fix. I called and spoke with Robert and felt really good about him. When I dropped off my Volvo XC90, he and I spoke more and I felt even better about him. He called after an hour and told me what was causing the leak (left cam seal). He suggested doing the right one as well. I did and was afraid to ask for the cost because my previously place told me that it would be expensive. Let's just put it like this, it was soo reasonable that I asked him to look at the a/c system as well. The a/c is working well and I no longer have an oil leak. Even with all this work, it was still reasonably inexpensive considering it was a Volvo! I have a new place for my Volvo service! Totally Satisfied! ?

Robert has a great business. He treats his costumers with respect. He pays attention to find parts that are eco friendly. For instance, I had to replace the plastic squeegee on my windshield wipers. The dealer wanted me to substitute the hole windshield wiper. It was a big boy to me. The only thing that was in bad confusion was that thin layer of plastic! Robert, had in stock that plastic replacement. I was very happy of that! Robert always treat me with respect and he believes me when I say something is wrong with the car. Since I do my regular maintenance with him my Volvo had 0 problems. He does a better job than the Volvo dealer here in Austin. Absolutely recommended!

My 93 volvo always gets quality service and repair at this East Austin shop. Robert, Wally and the gang are the guys for your Volvo needs. I bought an 04 XC70 project and had them go through everything. The quote was spot on and they took the time to explain and prioritize what was needed vs future needs. They were quick and their rates are reasonable. The work was performed exactly as stated and on time. They even helped me out with some questions I had after the fact. I wouldn't go anywhere else, highly recommend them!

Love this place Robert has been great help to me. You can tell that the people here are honest and will make sure to take care of your Volvo. I drive a older 1995 volvo 940 with 460k + miles and the previous owner recommended these guys to me and I'm so glad she did. I called a few places that quoted me much more price for the job. I needed a kickdown cable replaced. They fixed it within a day had my car ready by the end of my work shift. It's my daily driver, so I try my best to take care of it when I can. This is not my first time here, but it is my first time giving my review on them. If you have an older Volvo or any car in general you are definitely in the right hands.

I was driving back from Fort Davis and my serpentine belt broke...in actual BFE- 16 miles west of Ozona. Insurance towed my XC90 to the dealer in Austin. I sent an email to Robert at Capital V and he responded the same night. The dealer wanted $2,800 to replace the belt, tensioner, and pulleys. Capital V gave me verbal estimate of $1,100.00 and ended up only charging me $860.00. If you have a Volvo, these guys are the best. Prompt responses, realistic pricing, and great service overall. I can not recommend them enough. Thank you again to Robert and the Team.

This garage is the only reason I decided to buy a Volvo here in Austin. Robert and his staff are competent, thorough, and will explain repairs to you in whatever detail you want. Multiple times I have suggested I will do part of a scheduled maintenance myself and they have given me tips on how to do it and on parts to get or avoid so I don't waste my time. They do not try to upsell you on repairs. Instead, they will inform you of issues you might need to watch out for with the next few services as parts wear out on your vehicle and tell you whether these issues can wait and be monitored or need to be fixed relatively soon. They are reasonably priced and have excellent customer service, always working with you rather than talking down to you. I can't recommend them enough!

These guys are the most honest and straightforward mechanics I've hired in Austin so far. I've only taken my C30 in once for a repair, but I will definitely be returning for all future services. Update: 2/27/20 Took my C30 in again for some routine maintenance. They got all the spark plugs and some sway bar joints swapped out. Reasonably priced and got it out within about 3 hours. I had taken it in about a month prior to get a headlight lamp replaced. They didn't charge me anything for that. I still highly recommend taking your Volvo here! Great businessmen and mechanics.

I went to Capital V to get a second opinion on a quote from the dealership to replace brake pads and rotors on my car for a lot of $. Capital V is both transparent and competent. They quoted the same work at a lower rate but also explained why it was very unlikely that my rotors needed replacing. They checked it out, called me, and told me exactly how all my rotors looked (fine). They only replaced the pads, saving me a lot of money. Maybe the dealership was trying to get me to pay for extra work since I had no idea what they were talking about. At Capital V, they showed me how easy it is to check the outer brake pad by looking at it (and told me it's not so easy to check the inner pad). Capital V explained to me the details of my car as much as I wanted them to and offered quick service at a lower rate than the dealership (they still get their parts from a Volvo dealership). Not least of all, they are extremely friendly. I'm going there every time.

No more 'Swedish Auto', no more 'Volvo of Austin' these are my new "go to guys" for my Volvo! Fast turn around/day-of service, great prices using OEM parts and very reasonable labor rates. Most foreign auto mechanics will quote you up to 3 times what CVConnection will for any particular service job. Go here first before any major - or minor - repair, or for at least an honest second opinion. Highly recommended.

Perhaps my expectations were high after reading glowing reviews. I'm a new owner and looked around after 2 dissapointing interactions with Roger Beasley Volvo (Austin... Better experience at RBV Georgetown). Took my 2009 C70 to CVC for 60k maintenance. They seem to have done solid work, there's just no noticeable difference in the vehicle. Still, at half the cost of what the dealership would charge I'm quite satisfied. Just don't expect any pampering like you might get at the dealership (paper mats, nice waiting area, courtesy rides, coffee, or car wash). As a new customer, they could have earned my loyalty better by introducing themselves, showing me the shop, or at least feigning interest in customers or their vehicles. A little of that goes a long way. I had had RBV Georgetown do a thorough inspection before purchasing my car from a private party. Was pleased that CVC didn't discover anything in their inspection. Makes me believe CVC is an honest shop. (Kudos.) On the other hand, CVC didn't spot the 2 minor things that RBV did find in their inspection. I'm not qiite sure what to make of that. Many ancient Volvos here. That seems to be their specialty.

This was my first time using CVC. I just had my 90K scheduled maintenance done. I got in first thing in the morning and since I was waiting for the car, they worked on it immediately. I was in and out in 1.5 hours. The price was a lot cheaper than the what the dealer would have charged. The technicians were friendly and I feel like they did an honest job.
